Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Near Capitol Reef National Park
BOULDER, Utah — A 75-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a motorcycle crash on State Road 12 near Boulder, close to Capitol Reef National Park, according to the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS).
Authorities said the man was riding alone, heading north just before 12:30 p.m., when he failed to navigate a curve in the road. A witness reported the motorcycle was traveling at a high speed before veering off to the right side of the highway.

The bike struck a traffic post and continued off the shoulder into rocky, wooded terrain. The rider suffered fatal injuries at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
