Motorcycle Crashes Into Black Bear Diner in Drape

DRAPER, Utah — A motorcycle slammed into the Black Bear Diner near 12000 South State Street on Saturday afternoon, shattering a front window and ending up inside the restaurant.

According to witnesses, the motorcyclist collided with a car before swerving off the road and crashing through the diner’s glass. The impact sent glass shards flying across the dining area and broke part of a table.

Draper Police have not released full details about the cause of the crash or the condition of the motorcyclist. It’s also unclear if any diners or staff were injured.

The restaurant was temporarily closed following the crash while crews removed the motorcycle and assessed the damage. Reopening plans have not yet been announced.
