65-Year-Old Woman Killed in Suspected Hit-and-Run in Brigham City

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — Police are investigating the death of a 65-year-old woman believed to have been struck by a vehicle in Brigham City on Sunday night.

According to the Brigham City Police Department, officers responded to reports of a “person down” just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of 850 South and 425 East. When officers arrived minutes later, they found the woman lying in the roadway with severe injuries.

Paramedics treated the victim at the scene and transported her to Brigham City Community Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity has not yet been released.

Investigators have been interviewing residents in the area but, as of Tuesday morning, no suspect driver or vehicle had been identified or located.
